Getting ready for Ivie.

Scott and I have been hard at work getting our house ready to bring Ivie home. We have painted the room - pink of course, my favorite color. Hopefully it will be Ivie's too because pretty much everything we have gotten for her so far is pink.

We had a shower at work on Wednesday. Ivie got lots of cute outfits and blankets. Oh boy did she get a lot of blankets - she will never be cold.

Today I also mailed Ivie a care package, two little outfits and a stuffed bear that says love bug on it. I hope she loves it. We also sent a disposable camera so the orphanage and her foster family will take pictures and give her something to remember.

I also wanted to post some pictures of where she is.




This is Jiangxi province. She lives in Yihuang County which is located in the circled area on middle of the map on the right. We will be staying in the capital city, Nanchang which is indicated by the arrow.



This is the Yihuang County Social Welfare Institute. She was found by the gates on January 22, 2006. She does not live here because she has been in foster care since February 17th.



This is a picture of the playground at the orphange - it looks pretty nice.
